General Terms and Conditions
Please read carefully the general information that follow. They limit our liability and that of the associate companies providing services purchased. They outline the terms and conditions under which Deutsche Touring will operate. Acceptance of booking confirmation of any item of this program represents acceptance of the terms and conditions as follows:
Reservations and Confirmations
Reservations have to be made in writing and are subject to availability. After a reservation has been made Deutsche Touring will provide a confirmation that will as well be sent in writing. If the requested service is not available, Deutsche Touring will undertake all efforts to provide a suitable alternate. The client has between 7-21 days to meet the deposit requirements. Failure to meet the deposit requirements can result in release of the reservation space. Reconfirming of space released is subject to new check of availability.
Deposit and Payments
Guided Tours / Independent Tours / City Breaks:
25% deposit of the tour price is required within 21 days of confirmation. Final payment is due not later than four weeks prior to departure. For bookings made within four weeks before departure, full payment is due immediately.
Revisions
Revisions of bookings are subject to a fee of € 30.-
per booking (except for simple additions).
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation have to be made in writing and are only valid with a written cancellation confirmation by Deutsche Touring. Cancellation fees will apply as
follows:
Guided Tours / Independent Tours:
Up to 45 days prior to departure, all funds paid will be refunded in full, less an administrative charge of $100 per person. Additional cancellation charges are to be paid if cancellation is received
- 45 to 30 days prior to departure: 10% min. $ 200.-
- 29 to 15 days prior to departure: 50%
- 14 to 3 days prior to departure: 80%
- later than 3 days: 100% of the land tour price.
- No refunds for no-shows and no refunds for unused
portions during the course of the tour.
City Breaks:
If cancellation in writing is received by the Deutsche Touring up to 15 days prior to departure, all funds paid will be refunded in full, less an administrative charge of $100 per booking. Additional cancellation charges are to be paid if cancellation is received
- 14 to 7 days prior to arrival: 30%, min $100
- 6 to 3 days prior to arrival: 60%
- later than 3 days prior to arrival: 100% of the package price.
- No refunds for no-shows and no refunds for unused portions of the package.
Child Reduction
Until the age of 11 inclusive: 30% discount, when sharing room with two adults in extra bed.
Passports and Visa
Before concluding the travel contract, the travel agent points the passenger to current passport and visa requirements. Each passenger is responsible on his own for obtaining the papers and documents needed for the destinations that will be visited. In case of difficulties caused by flouting terms of visa, the passenger has no right to withdraw from the travel contract; the cancellation terms mentioned above are to apply mutatis mutandis.
Insurance is Recommended
The operator is not responsible or liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage and/or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accident, and/or illness.
Bustouringeurope.com typically reccomends purchase of additional insurance for all vacatoin packages. Unless otherwise stated no additional insurance is included.

Limitations of Liability
Deutsche Touring’s (operator for all bookings out of this brochure) contractual liability for damages which are not bodily harms is limited by three times the amount of the traveling fare if the damages are not caused with intent or by committing an act of culpable negligence or if the operator is obliged to compensate a damage with respect to the passengers only because of an administering body’s fault. The legal liability according to § 23 PBefG amounts to 7 1,000.- at most for damages to the passenger’s property which are not caused with intend or by committing an act of culpable negligence.
Termination for reasons of force majeure
In case of relevant impediments, endangerings or impairments caused by unforeseeable circumstances as war impacts, political or social unrest, epidemics, administrative or judicial orders (e.g. prohibition of crossing the border), natural disasters, destroying of accommodations or similar occurrences both parties are entitled to terminate the contract in compliance with these contractual terms. After a passenger’s termination the operator can demand reimbursement for services that have already been performed according to § 471 of the German BGB.
Deviations from the services stipulated in the contract changes concerning the services booked by the passenger that become necessary after the conclusion of the contract and are not contrary to good faith can be performed by the operator if the travel’s general shape is not reduced considerably; the passenger must be informed by the operator immediately after having got positive knowledge of the admissible deviations. Facing a change of an essential feature of the booked travel, the passenger is entitled to cancel the contract.
Disruption by passengers
The operator is entitled to terminate the contract without notice if a passenger disrupts the travel despite warnings of the bus crew in such a way that the other passengers can’t be expected to continue the travel or if a passenger refuses to follow objective advises resp. orders of the bus crew. In this case, the operator has the right to demand the whole fare unless the disturbing passenger’s seat can be allocated to another person so that an economic disadvantage does not occur.
Guided Tours
Included:
- All items included in the tour price are listed on the respective page of product description. See "Services included".
- Accommodation generally at listed hotels. Although no changes in hotels are anticipated, Deutsche Touring reserves the right to change hotels without notice where deemed necessary or advisable. Substitutes will be equal of standard.
- Luggage handling of one piece of normal size luggage included (further pieces on request). Porter service is provided in most of the hotels throughout the tours.
- Meals provided are outlined in the separate tour itineraries. Continental or full buffet breakfasts at the hotels throughout the tour.
- Itinerary: If unforeseen conditions beyond the control of Deutsche Touring GmbH and/or their suppliers so require, the tour operator reserves the right to make changes in the itinerary, timetable and activities.
Not Included:
- Air Transportation or any means of transportation to connect with the tours.
- Transfers: Arrival transfer on the first day of the tour and departure transfer on the last day of the tour are not included. Passengers are asked to join the tour at the listed departure points. (See page 6.)
- Personal expenses such as, but not limited to, phone calls, mini bar charges, additional food orders, wines, mineral waters, room service, valet/ laundry service, and any other items of personal nature not specifically mentioned as being included.
- The traditional end-of-trip-gratuity to your tour guide and your driver is not included and remains optional at your discretion. All necessary tipping to luggage porters, bellmen, doormen, dining room waiters, local guides and all others rendering services for the included features of the tour.
Independent Tours (EB-Tours)
No Eurail Pass/German Rail Pass will be accepted. Departure times and places are subject to change.
Included:
- All items included in the tour price are listed on the respective page of product description. See "Services included".
- Transportation by scheduled air-conditioned motorcoach, train or taxi, as per itinerary.
- Accommodations in listed hotels are subject to availability. The operator will offer alternatives if the requested hotel is not available. The operator reserves the right to ask for a supplement if no availabilities at contract hotels and a more expensive hotel is offered. Buffet breakfast at the hotels throughout the tour.
- Luggage transportation of 2 pieces of luggage per person.
Not Included:
- Arrival transfer on the first day of the tour and departure transfer on the last day of the tour are not included. Passengers are asked to join the tour at the departure points indicated for each tour.
- Personal expenses such as, but not limited to, phonecalls, mini bar charges, additional food orders, wines,mineral waters, room service, valet/ laundry service, and any other items of personal nature not specifically mentioned as being included.
City Breaks
Bookings and rates in requested hotels are subject to availability. The operator will offer alternatives if the requested hotel is not available - in this case the operator reserves the right to ask for a supplement if a more expensive hotel is offered. Published rates are not valid during times of trade fairs, conferences and other events.
Included:
- For information about items included see specific page of product descriptions.
- Accommodations with private bath or shower, continental or buffet breakfast, taxes.
- Participation on sightseeing coach tour (s.i.c) by local company for the morning of the second day.
- Per person one city card of the respective city which offers free travel on public transport within limits. For specific features of the city card please see the information underneath the city offers in our brochure and also ask at time of reservation.
Not Included:
- No private transportation or transfers included.
- Personal expenses such as, but not limited to, phone calls, mini bar charges, additional food orders, wines, mineral waters, room service, valet/ laundry service, and any other items of personal nature not specifically mentioned as being included.
- No further assistance than guided city tour.

Bustouringeurope.com and Advanta Enterprises are not responsible for tour operation. All tours are organized by Deutsche Touring GmbH who is solely responsible for all aspect of operation, accommodation, and guidance during all tours sold on this site. Saving Clause:
